The 24th China International Industrial Expo, themed "Industrial Energy Gathering, New Quality Leading", has arrived as scheduled today. With an exhibition area of 280000 square meters, 2600 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions around the world, and nine major professional theme exhibitions such as industrial automation, it is like an autumn harvest, becoming a concentrated presentation of new industrial core technologies at home and abroad.

At last year's Industrial Expo, Sinopec Xinsong brought its "Rocket" product - a 25 kg multi collaborative robot. This is a microcosm of China's collaborative robots comprehensively overtaking on curves. In 2013, the Industrial Expo set up an independent robot exhibition area for the first time. This year, the robot exhibition area has reached 56000 square meters, with more than 350 domestic and foreign brands participating, more than four times the size. In the early days, the CIIE was a showcase for the "four major families" of global robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, and Yaskawa). In recent years, Chinese collaborative robots have become increasingly daring to showcase their strength on stage without any stage fright. The "four major families" have indeed felt the pressure - Chinese collaborative robots are entering the "fruit chain" (Apple supply chain) and factories such as BYD in large numbers, unlocking scenes such as 3C products, automobiles, semiconductors, and metal processing, competing for a large number of job opportunities that originally belonged to industrial robots.
Insight into pain points is another major driving force for 2600 exhibitors worldwide to eagerly join the CIIE.

In 2006, the Shanghai Industrial Fair was officially renamed as the China Industrial Expo.Nowadays, the China International Expo for Industry and Technology (CIIE) has been held for 24 sessions and is widely recognized as the longest, largest, and most influential national level, comprehensive industrial event in China that can benchmark against the Hanover International Expo in Germany.
Seeking answers for China's "smart" manufacturing and paving the way for the future of global new industrialization.
